New Portable Camera

So yeah, I know this account is gathering dust, I'm trying to fix it, I'll be updating soon, don't worry! I'm looking for a new camera, borrowing the family camera just isn't good enough anymore. So I've been looking into different sorts of super portable, yet powerful cameras. I think I've decided on the Sony PowerShot, but if anyone has anything they'd like to say that'd be great, cause I don't wanna get it and then figure out it's crap XD

I just want something small, portable, and powerful. This is a 9.1 megapixil. So that just about sold it for me. I think it's like 4x optical zoom, I'm not too worried about zoom, as I seem to take shots that don't require it, but it's a nice thing to have as well. Takes video, which.. well I guess for events and stuff is nice, though I still prefer my photographs -hugs-

Well, any imput would be lovely!
